WHAT IS CHRISTMAS?
Did you know that Christmas is NOT just another festival or holiday?

Christmas is one day in the year which people around the world remember the birth of Jesus Christ, the most UNIQUE person born in human history.
What is it that makes Jesus Christ very Special, Unique and one of a Kind? Well, the Bible tells us that His birth was no ordinary birth. Actually 2,500 years before Jesus was born, God, in the Bible, promised that He was going to send a Savior for the whole human race who would save men and women from their sins. (Genesis 3:15)

Then approximately 700 years before Jesus was born, God, through the writing of the prophets foretold that this Savior would be supernaturally and sinlessly conceived by the Holy Spirit, in the womb of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14). This would be a sign to the whole world that this was the One and Only True Savior of the human race. In fact, the Bible even foretold the exact city, Bethlehem, in which the Savior would be born. (Micah 5:2)

One of the name given to Jesus in the Bible is 'Immanuel', which means GOD IS WITH US!!!
The Bible also foretold that this Savior Jesus would die on the CROSS and pay for the sins of the whole human race (Isaiah 53 and Matthew 20:18) and that this Jesus would rise again.

Think of it! God left Heaven and came down on this earth for one purpose...for YOU! Yes, He came to save YOU! He loves You! He died for YOUR sins and after three days Jesus rose again and today He is alive in Heaven!! Jesus offers absolute forgiveness and eternal life to all those who believe upon him. He who believes (trusts in Jesus as their Savior) even though he dies physically, yet will he live forever in Heaven with Jesus.

Two thousand years ago, on Christmas day (day Jesus was born), God sent the human race the most priceless gift. He sent Jesus Christ to be the promised Savior of the world.

This Christmas YOU can receive the most Priceless gift you have had, or will ever have...the gift of ETERNAL LIFE and FORGIVENESS that Jesus offers to all who recieve HIM as their Savior.

The Bible says in Romans 6:23,"The wages of sin is death....but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus."

If you would like to be sure of going to Heaven when you die, say this simple prayer in faith....
"...Lord Jesus, today I understand the true meaning of Christmas;
That You have come to save me and You are the Savior of the world.
Oh Lord, I know I am not perfect but I am a sinner who needs forgiveness.
Right now, I ask You to forgive me, save me and take me to heaven when I die.
I accept Your free gift of eternal life."
Dear friend, if you pray the above, the Bible says that today you have become a child of God (John 1:12), all your sins are forgiven and God Himself has become your Father. (Galatians 4:4-5)

Today, you can actually celebrate Christmas because not only does your Savior live in heaven, but one day you will live with him forever.
